Angela Hall | Executive Assistant

Angela Hall provides administrative support to the office. Before joining AFHP, she worked in the private sector as an executive assistant for over 10 years. Her main focus is on service and quality.

April McCue | Program and Data Manager

April McCue has a background in Public Health and is passionate about prevention, health promotion, and addressing root causes. She has experience working in education, coalitions, and community gardens. April is dedicated to creating /supporting inclusive spaces, learning, unpacking, and addressing her personal biases in her work, and healthy workplace culture/self-care. Outside of work, April enjoys time with family, eating delicious food, gardening, and adventuring in the outdoors.

Brenda L. "Bré" Thomas, MPA | Chief Executive Officer

Brenda L. "Bré" Thomas, MPA brings to Arizona Family Health Partnership (AFHP) more than 25 years of dynamic and proven leadership experience working with non-profit organizations, state agencies, the Arizona Governor's Office for Children, Youth and Families as well as for electoral campaigns. Fully committed to expanding access to reproductive healthcare and education, Bré served as a dedicated member of the AFHP Board of Directors for six years—and as president of the board from 2008-2010—before assuming responsibilities as the organization’s CEO.

Brittney Trang | Program Manager

Brittney Trang has a Masters in Public Health Policy and Management and has worked in youth programming for over nine years. Prior to joining AFHP, she served as YMCA Youth Development Coordinator for over five years. With different agencies, she has provided data collection and analysis, and technical assistance. Brittney aspires to support policy change for sustainable health services and resources to improve the lives of children and families. In her spare time, she enjoys attending community events, photography, and being outdoors, cycling or gardening.

Christina Petsas | Communications and Outreach Manager

Christina Petsas holds a dual degree in Communications and Spanish/Portuguese from the University of Arizona Honors College. While in Tucson, she led the development of an advising website for students interested in sustainability and was the founder and director of the Sustainability Advocate Program. After university, she worked, traveled, and lived across Spain, Greece, Ecuador and Peru, solidifying her Spanish fluency and love for different cultures, especially the Latinx lifestyle. She is passionate about women’s empowerment and advocating for reproductive rights. In her spare time, you can find her hiking, doing yoga, reading a book, or enjoying the great outdoors with her family and friends.

Dania Garcia | Program Manager

Dania Garcia has worked in the nonprofit healthcare field for numerous years, focusing primarily on program management and health center administration. Clinic efficiency and program evaluation are Dania's key interests.

Jennifer Min | Vice President of Program and Evaluation

Jennifer Min holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Public Health from the University of Colorado. Her professional experience includes more than 15 years in program management as well as data analysis and reporting in the field of maternal and child health. She previously worked at the Arizona Department of Health Services as an Injury Epidemiologist and Research Manager. Jennifer has been with the Arizona Family Health Partnership for over ten years, currently administering and overseeing contracts with delegate agencies, providing technical assistance with data needs, managing data systems, conducting needs assessments, evaluating fiscal and program activities, and supervising program staff.

Kristin Stookey, CRNP | Clinical Program Manager

Kristin Stookey, CRNP is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with over 24 years of experience providing reproductive health services to women, men, and teens. Her education includes Iowa Methodist School of Nursing, Harbor UCLA Nurse Practitioner Program and University of Phoenix. Prior to joining AFHP she was a Title X provider at Planned Parenthood Arizona specializing in all methods of contraception, well-screening physicals, and STD diagnosis and treatment. Her passion is reproductive education and accessible contraception to all.

Manuel E. Ferreiro | Vice President of Finance and Administration

Manuel E. Ferreiro is a senior financial executive with more than 20 years experience with for-profit and non-profit organizations. Before joining AFHP, Manny was the Chief Financial Officer at Adelante Healthcare in Phoenix and prior to that he spent 11 years with the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Inc., in Lawrence, MA. Previously, he was with the Gillette Company in Boston. Manny earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Financial Planning Diploma from Boston University.

Sharon Thompson, MD, MPH | Medical Director

Sharon Thompson, MD, MPH, has a Masters in Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley and completed her medical training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She recently completed her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Harvard affiliated/integrated Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospital residency program. Dr. Thompson provides consultation to Arizona Family Health Partnership concerning clinical aspects, medical protocols, standards of care, and quality assurance activities.

Tracy Pedrotti, MPA | Adolescent Health Program Manager

Tracy Pedrotti, MPA is excited about joining Arizona Family Health Partnership to develop a program building the capacity of health centers to improve the quality of care provided to adolescents. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and has more than 13 years’ experience in adolescent-centered services. Throughout her career, Tracy has been dedicated to supporting youth and the professionals working with them to enhance adolescent wellbeing. She enjoys reading, planning celebrations, and hiking with her husband and two young sons.
