Birth control, also called contraception, is most often used to prevent pregnancy. Individuals can be prescribed or choose to use birth control for other reasons such as controlling acne and managing periods. Nowadays there are many contraception options (some listed below) with a variety of perks like preventing STIs, being free of estrogen, being easy to use and more.
Arizona Family Health Partnership runs the website SEXfyi.org ®, which has an easy-to-use birth control method finder as well as FAQs about Title X appointments and services, plus our health center locator. Contraception may interact with medical conditions and/or other medication, so it’s important to discuss the options with a health care provider.
SEXfyi.org ® is also fully available in Spanish. Translation services will be offered at any Title X appointment. Identification is not required to receive services.
